M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance)
The M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics is a postgraduate programme focused on advanced drug delivery systems, formulation development, and pharmaceutical technology. The programme equips students with in-depth knowledge of novel dosage forms, biopharmaceutics, and industrial manufacturing processes, preparing them for careers in formulation research, production, and academic research.
The M.Pharm in Quality Assurance is designed to develop expertise in pharmaceutical quality systems, regulatory compliance, and validation processes. The programme emphasizes Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality control, documentation, and regulatory affairs, preparing graduates for responsible roles in ensuring the safety, efficacy, and quality of pharmaceutical products in industry and regulatory organizations.
Course Duration:
a) The duration of the M.Pharm course shall be of two academic years full time with each academic year spread over a period of not less than two hundred working days.
b) The study of M.Pharm course shall be of annual system which includes M.Pharm (Part-I) extending for 12 months from the commencement of the academic term and M.Pharm (Part- II) of another 12 months duration.
c) At the end of M.Pharm (Part-I) there shall be a university examination of M.Pharm (Part- I). At the end of M.Pharm (Part-II) the candidate shall submit a dissertation on the topic approved by the university.
Minimum qualification for admission to M.Pharm (Part-I) programme
A pass in the B.Pharm degree examination of an Indian University established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years of B.Pharm)
